Authentik

Authentik is the central sign-in service for supported Homelab services. Sign in at https://authentik.netbird.example.com with your account.

Set up two-factor authentication​

After signing in, open user settings and choose a method under MFA Devices:

  • TOTP Device: Scan the QR code with an authenticator app and confirm the first six-digit code.
  • Passkey or security key: Register a passkey or FIDO2 security key.
  • Static tokens: Generate one-time recovery codes and keep them separate from your password.

Sign in with a passkey​

Use Sign in with a passkey to use a passkey previously registered for this Authentik domain. Password sign-in remains available.

Recover access​

Before removing an MFA device, ensure you have a second factor or current recovery codes. Otherwise, contact the administration.
